I’m Damian — a full-stack developer with over 18 years of experience, currently working at Thrive. Based in South Shields in the north-east of England. When I’m not working, I’m usually at home with my wife and our two kids, making espresso or building things like Dream Dinner Party.
I care about building things that are simple, accessible, and perform well. This site runs on Fastify, SQLite, and server-rendered templates — no framework, no ORM. I write here about JavaScript, the web, home automation, and whatever else I find worth sharing.
